PPD Reunion.

JPD PPD reunion lunch yesterday at U-Village, Sungai Wang.There are whole lots of food choices available but it seemed that the foods served aren't hot enough to be consumed. Cause i didn't burn my tongue when drinking the soup? Lol. By the way, PPD stands for Program Sains Pemakanan and Program Dietetik. We used to call ourselves JPD, Jabatan Pemakanan dan Dietetik. Still prefer to address ourselves as JPD cause we are one big happy family right :(

My dry wantan mee with roasted chicken drumstick with BBQ sauce and sesame seeds and a fresh prawn dumpling soup base. Attracted by the drumsticks at the catering counter once i entered. Hehe.

Celebrated Pei Yee's and Hui Wern's 21st birthdays too. Just like the old times~ Love this sort of gathering ^_^

Right before i am blogging about this, i've just completed two of my assignments. Out of four. So far. Which means there are more to come! >.< Had my buddy gathering dinner this evening. My first time ever. Still it wasn't complete cause my little buddy couldn't join us. Had yu tao mai, my favourite. Teehee. Waited for grandbuddies for an hour plus. They came straight after their posting at PPUKM. Such hectic life. Worst of all, i'll soon go through such life too. Have not done any revision today so i guess i shall resume to my study right now. Bye~

CNY Diary.

Of course i never forget aunty and uncle in Kedah. Sent a greeting card to them a week before cny. Wondering if they have received it yet..

CNY eve.
We always have steamboat as reunion dinner. This year was no exceptional. The reason being there are just too many of us, thirty plus people. Those who eat totally outnumbered those who are going to cook and we are all grown ups now. WE EAT ALOT! So steamboat is the best solution. I am typing this in the morning of the second day of cny, i am yet to feel the new year breeze. Is it because i am going old? Hmm.. Oh ya, had Mcd's prosperity burger and twister fries for lunch. We'll have a prosperous year ahead! Had the feeling that i'd eaten a week worth of foods on that very day. Stuffed. Lunch at 2:30pm and dinner 4:30pm!

First day of cny.
We are supposed to be vegetarians for the day. Our practice were, okay, let's be one for half a day. Cause..we couldn't resist the temptation of "rou gan". Little kids like stuffs like that you know. So, we'd like wait for the clock to strike 12:00pm and start our feast. Lol. This year i succeeded in holding back my urge to break the tradition. I have no problem being a veggie though. Love the dish so much! Though dad kinda broke it already before breakfast. He ate kaya bread before breakfast was served due to extreme hunger. As a word of consolation, i said, nevermind, you're still a vegetarian, a lacto-ovo-vegetarian :) Spent the rest of the day with aunties and the twins. First, we had Starbucks. Aunt's treats cause she couldn't give angpau this year. Then we went home with the to play with the twins. How much they've have grown without us noticing. Time flies~

Second day of cny.
The day where married women return to their parents' home for a visit. Tik tok tik tok..awaiting for baby Hailey to be home from Kuala Kangsar. Oh goodness, miss her so much! But couldn't get to meet her or cuddle her today cause they reached grandma's house at 1:30am which i was soundly asleep already at home -.- So what's up on the second day of cny? Daddy and daughters day out! Teehee. Went Midvalley for a movie with Tracy and dad. Had Mcd later on for dinner. Second mcd in three days time. Pffttt. I am eating so recklessly during this cny #dammit. There were split second(s) where i accidentally fell asleep during the movie. But i'm not trying to imply that the movie was not good. It's just me and my drowsiness attack.

Third day of cny.
Supposed to go house hopping with bf but plan cancelled at the very last minute. Spent the early afternoon with baby Hailey. She slept so peacefully in my embrace xD I suspected she prefers to lie on something vertical cause once you put her down to sleep on the bed, she wakes up and cries and if you carry her while standing, she falls asleep back quickly. Spent the rest of the day with bf and foods -.- He stayed at my place for awhile and later we gone back to his.

Fourth day of cny.

Family day. Mum planned to make lap mei fan. We basically fried raw rice by adding concentrated chicken stock and water little by little till it dried up and steamed for another 45 minutes having to fry minced onion beforehand. Had dinner at mum's friend's open house. Went Metro Point for dessert after that and had a stroll at the temple near my house.

Fifth day of cny.

14 February, Happy Valentine's Day! Bf asked me not to think of today is Valentine's yet cause we are only gonna to celebrate it tomorrow >.< Mum cooked porridge with scallops that sis bought back from Sabah. Something less exciting to compensate the foods eaten for the past week. Both sisters went out to lunch date with the girlfriends already. Watched another movie in the evening with aunty, uncle and sisters. Couple tees everywhere! Haha. Super long queue for movie ticket purchase too. Reached Cheras Selatan at around three but bought the first row for 7:10pm session. Crazy crowd.

Sixth day of cny.

KHS cny house hopping organised by Mr. Bra Fam. First house attack, Cheah's house at 10am followed by mine and Ai May's. Of course being a typical Malaysian, everyone was late. Bf and i reached at 10:30am and yeah, we were the first. Pity Cheah looking out for us since 10am. Lol. There were about of us who attended. Kok Wai, Brian, Jia Yee, Michelle, Cheah, Soon Yin, Wei Han, Ian, Norman, Mei Fen, Glynn and Yap. They were happily gambling while i was happily watching them gambling. Just love the atmosphere where old high school friends gathered around. 

15/2, celebrated our belated Valentine's Day :) Watched The Wedding Diary II. Promised each other we'll watch the second one together after watching the first. Dinner at Ichiban Ramen before heading home. Had Ichiban Ramen on Valentine's last year too! Remembered money flowers? Hahaha. Actually, efforts and thoughts are way more valuable and appreciated than expensive gifts. Each of them tells a beautiful story. And if you look back at them when you're older, waa, they bring back so much memories! Haha ^_^

Today, he made me realised how much he loves me. Putting up with my attitudes all the time. Tolerating with me in any possible ways. Doing all you can to make me happy. A very considerate and patient boyfriend and yes, you made a good boyfriend :')

Movie info: The Wedding Diary 2 picks up two years after the marriage of Wei Jie (Aniu) and Zhixin (Elanne), when they welcome a new and unexpected addition to their family. Finally, i've the courage to check my results! Although it wasn't perfect but bf said i should be grateful. So yeah, i am happy with what i got. Anyway, way better than what i dare to hope for already :)

Seventh day of cny.

人日! a.k.a. the common man's birthday, is the day when everyone grows one year older. Yeah, my first lou sang for this cny! :D Sent sis off at the airport in the morning. Time to get back on track :( Just saw my timetable for second semester. My heart screamed "What the hell!" -.- So packed againnnnnn! And most Friday evenings are occupied with classesssssss. What is this!?

Eighth day of cny.

Last day of holiday before classes start on Monday. Damn la, i don't want laa..:'( Woke up in the morning and crap, i'm having the crazy menstrual cramp again! Shyt man. Dinner with cousin's in laws at Old Man Restaurant. I love their dishes alot :) Finished my seventh book today. Guess this holiday had been pretty well spent. It's time to carry out one of my resolutions for the year, to lose weight after cny. Lol. 

Classes are starting tomorrow. Second semester for second year. Ga yao la people!
