Second dry run

An accident happened in class today and i am still feeling bewildered. Can't focus on my lecture notes and here i am, blogging. 

With my assistant. Haha.

Did our second dry run yesterday. Baked my giant chocolate chips cookies again but with margarine this time in substitution for butter to cut cost of course. Succeeded but lecturer commented that my cookies need to be more giant -.- Cause she felt that people will feel it's too expensive if we sell it at RM1.50 per piece. Well, maybe i can flatten it more? xD

There are some dishes that we've added into our menu. The red velvet cake, lemon poppy seed muffins and black pepper sauce spaghetti! We've confirmed the drinks that we'll be selling on that day too. Longan milk and lime mint sprite. Believe me when i said that the longan milk is absolutely  nice =D Lime mint sprite is refreshing too~

Group 3 did a very good job too. Love their carrot cake and corn rice with curry chicken gravy! Yum~ If the food sale falls on a Friday, i will definitely buy one home for mum.

Last minute plan though =D

Tomyam addiction!

Purposely plan to have lunch at Secret Recipe on a Sunday just to try their tomyam after hearing some good feedback for it. Tomyam addict, i think i am qualified to be called one. My stomach will suffer everytime i have tomyam yet i still couldn't resist myself EVERYTIME. Digging my own grave grrr. Anyway, Secret Recipe's tomyam was not bad. It's just overpriced for a bowl of tomyam without much ingredients in it. Merely a few little stalks of cauliflower, slices of mushroom and chunks of chicken breast. Chunks, cause they were so huge and chewy -.- My mouth grew tired from trying to masticate them. 

Try to stop me the next time i wanna have tomyam please. I am serious.

The soup was not bad though. Spicy and not that oily.

The set lunch includes a big glass of ice lemon tea for RM17.

It felt like he's having some western cuisine at some restaurant by the alley. Lol.

He's back!

After two weeks, finally we met. He's back from Korea. I wanna go Korea one day too. I asked him to bring back Lee Seung Gi for me but he didn't! Grrr. Lol. Viewed all the pictures in his camera. Something i love doing :) Looking at pictures and listen to their stories. He said the weather there was so cold and dry. He was actually afraid that his skin will crack if he does some big face expressions. Lol. The foods there were too mild and bland for Malaysians' acceptance. Malaysian foods are still the best in the world! Wee~

He is back! :)

Familiar feeling..

It was an incredibly sunny Sunday! I should have asked for a cloudier sky. Visited sis at her National Service camp at Bidor, Perak. Kem PLKN Nilam Ehsan is the name of the camp. The place was so bare. Fully exposed to sunlight T.T Since it's a new camp, there aren't much trees or anything for shade yet. We were all melting~~~ The visit brought back a lot of memories of mine. I used to be a NS trainee too. All three girls at home pun kena. If bro is exempted, there is no doubt for saying that we are all more manly than him. Haha. 

My very first experience at a NS camp was when we were paying a visit to my cousin's camp at Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor. Kem Geo Kosmo. The name sounded so wow! Lol. When i was looking at the trainees i actually felt pity for them. All alone, away from home. Never in my wildest dream did i think that i would one day be there too. Gahhh. Two years later, i found myself surviving in the camp for almost two months -.- Despite the homesickness, sunburnt, bad food, cold showers, sleepiness etc, it was an awesome once in a lifetime experience. Just too bad i missed my M16 session because of eye infection. My only regret. Sigh.

But little sis was not feeling the same way. She was desperate to go home because she said she hated the life there. Let's see how will she feel some time later.

Should reactive my study mode cause midsem is not over yet!

Assignments are pilling too T___T 

Stress, stress and to destress

Was having midsem exam for the whole week. And everyday i was in terrible luck! 

First day, memorised almost all parts of the lecture notes like gao gao and skipped some slides. That was this certain graph that i just skimmed through came out in essay and i was forced to answer it cause i totally ignored one of the topics that came out in essay too ~.~

Day 2, we were almost late for the paper. We were like so gan cheong! Bus driver's fault! Reached just in time and ran in the exam hall. Coursemates who stay inside were laughing at us -.-

Day 3, this particular lecturer who blamed us for corrupting her pendrive with virus and who proceeded to give lecture without showing any presentation slides gave us an essay question based on the topic that we will only learn in May. 

Day 4, exam was fine. But right after that, we were cracking our head all the way to finish up our research proposal. Thanks to our facilitator who changed our title at the very last minutes. Ahhh~ didn't intend to blog about this. Just that it was really bad luck. We are amateur~

Day 5 was the proposal presentation day. Got up really early cause i was thinking about the proposal whole night and being insomniac @@ Escaped before presentation to have some Japanese good food with Jasmine and CY. We did quite badly actually. Everything was wrong from the very first research design! Even our specific objectives pun kena criticised. I don't want to continue any more T_T Who should we listen to? One lecture was saying this and another was saying the other T______T

Visited ancestors and grandpa last Sunday. I did ask for blessing from him! For midsem..
