PPD Annual Family Dinner

Another PPD's dinner? Yeap, it's our tradition to have one specially to bid farewell to our chinese seniors sekalian. One does not simply question traditions. Lol. Missed out last year's cause it fell on cousie's wedding night. It was fun though cause we can eat pork. Hahaha. But i don't think there's any in the menu.. One big issue arose because of this dinner and guess what, although it seemed like everything is fine now, it'll never be the same anymore :( #dislike. 

Anyway, we the second year did a very entertaining video and i actually sang two songs on stage with mic -.- How glad that it's over! I am stealing pictures everywhere cause i only took food pictures that night.

PPD's annual dinner for chinese finally ended last night. Phew~ Finally, it's over~ Will blog about it after the others upload pictures on fb cause seriously i took none. 

Early this morning, bf came all the way to fetch me again. Hehe. 

We went for Serdang's yu tao mai cause i was craving for it.

Besides Subway, i have other favourite food of all time too x)

Had my favourite nachos as snack. Owh, and ice-cream too!

Bought dad a wallet for Father's Day.

Comment: Wow, can't recall when was the last time i did this cause it felt like forever since i watched a movie in the cinema. Fast and furious is fast and furious like always. Exciting! Sangat cepat dan marah. Haha. Yeah, i am interested in this kinda movie too besides creepy ones. Just feel sad that someone died :( I couldn't accept that some main characters will actually die in movies cause you know..main characters never die in movies. Things have changed now anyway. Audiences do not want to a movie that has a movie-like storyline~

Interpersonal relations.

The hard facts of life.
Interpersonal relations.
Something i was never good at.
Yet, it remains my biggest weakness.
It's not something you just learnt from your textbooks.

I am quiet doesn't mean that i am thoughtless.
When i am silently listening to what you gotta say,
there might be a riot going on my mind.
How would you know?
How would you know if you're so keen to be heard?
If you don't understand my silence, how would you understand my words?
Partly, my bad for not capable of putting my thoughts into words.

Do not take my kindness for weakness.
I am sucking up everything, you don't know, do you?
It's not that i don't want my voice to be heard.
But i think that there's no point raising an argument over a small deal.
If i am still capable to do something which takes just a little more effort,
SO WHY THE FUSS?
There is always a grey area in everything anyway.
So why waste your life insisting on what is supposed to be and what is not?
There's only a fine line separating what is right and what is wrong.
And i don't think anyone is in the position to be the judge.

I do not wish to change myself just to please people.
I do not want to start saying nice things to people and do not mean them.
But how much i realised it's not about me wanting it or not.
I was forced to. To face the reality of life.
There isn't time to be naive and believing everyone is angel anymore.
The sacrifices you need to make when you're growing up.
How do i stay true to myself in the midst of evil?

I still believe in hope.
I still believe every human is good in nature.
How a random act of kindness would just make your day.
When you believe, that is when you can live your life beautifully~
Trying to stay positive but i am so demotivated for so much that had happened :(

Elegante Night and Food Fiesta

I did mention in my previous post that these two weeks are gonna be the busiest ever right. I am not dead but barely alive now. I am so worn out. I have no desire to do anything except sleeping. I can't describe how lethargic i am. How i am feeling right now is really unpleasant and i'll never like these feelings. Only if i could, i wish to escape from everything i am supposed to do now. If and only if. Cause that might not even happen in my dreams. 

Last Friday, we had our annual PPD's coursenight which is held at Golden Chernose Media Hall located inside Wangsa Maju Mall. Theme of the night is elegance and so it got its name as Elegante Night. Dresscode was colour blocking. Didn't pay much attention to the theme as i am too lazy to shop for dresses anymore. The night was fun and everyone enjoyed much i guess. Lecturer even commented that this year's coursenight was the best compared to the previous years. Credit to the two emcees of the night in my opinion.

Under PPD, we are one big family.

That's all for the night. The next day was a working day for the remaining two groups for Food Fiesta. We started preparing for our food sale on Monday as early as 8:00 am the next day. Baked 180 cookies in 8 hours, standing. Omg, my muscles were so full of lactic acid. Everyone was so busy baking till we didn't realise how quickly time passed. It's almost 12:00 am when we called it a day. The routine continued for the next day. And yesterday, we starting preparing as early as 4:30 am. Sale wasn't as good as the last food sale. But even so if there's demand, with the speed of production, we aren't capable to satisfy them all. It was a stressful day for everyone. And when it comes to quality control, our lecturer showed the least compassion. I was so afraid that my cookies are gonna be rejected cause others commented that they were so thin. I hate our CEO the most at the moment she said that if she's the lecturer, she's gonna banned all my cookies. Is that what a leader should say when the members are under so much stress? Was stressed up for not being able to find the packaging for my cookies nearby too that time. At last, no matter how unwilling i was, i have to ask help from bf and dad to buy and send it to fac for me. So grateful to them :') Many of our final products were rejected and that slowed us down even more. I've been standing boiling spaghetti for the whole day and i got blister on my toe now! Not to mention the cleaning ups that have to be done after that.

I am doubtful on how i am gonna survive for the remaining days of the week although i must. Just did our kaunseling video presentation this morning. Next up will be Hubungan Etnik poster presentation tomorrow and Biostat research presentation on Thursday.

It was Mothers' Day last Sunday and i was not able to go home and celebrate with family :( Both sis were away from home too. Glad that i was able to buy mum a cake when dad and her came to send me my cookie packaging. A cake from our food sale! Had been wanting to buy her that but scare that it couldn't last till the end of the week.
