All about food!

Last Sunday, we had a feast.
We spent a month worth living wage on food in a day.
Dad wanted to have lobster out of the blue.
Since both sisters are back, we are a family of six again, it's the perfect timing.
We had dinner at Fook Hin Bak Kut Teh Restaurant at Serdang. Beside Hoi Tong.
I know it's weird that we're having lobster in a bak kut teh restaurant.
The restaurant's wooden wall is decorated with seashells and crabs.
There are lots of aquariums filled with lobsters, fishes, prawns and etc.
I guess it's not so weird after all, isn't it?
Anyway, i was not sure whether i sure recommend this restaurant or not cause i was not satisfied.
It might be my problem of not knowing how to enjoy the lobsters too.
The vege dish turned out to be the most delicious for me. And mum.
Ohhh and that free longan and sea coconut dessert is not that bad too. Haha.

Simply cooked in stock and herbs. I thought it would taste fresh and nice.

Cantonese sang mee with lobster. Maybe we should have go for braised yee mee.

Salted egg mantis shrimps a.k.a pissing shrimps.

Their specialty tofu. Not bad but too dry.

That was dinner.
I am going backwards now. Haha.
Had rojak and cendol after shopping.
This rojak is really the best.
From a catering truck by the roadside at Sri Petaling.
No table, just some plastics stools and people just kept coming.
Dad always tapao this for us whenever he happens to be there.
What's more perfect than a rojak and cendol combo on a hot day like this?

Yummy~

Brunch at Jin Xuan Hong Kong Restaurant.
Dad first fell in love with it for it's roasted pork and BBQ pork.
I fell in love because of their golden lao sha bao~
However, their foods seemed to be losing their quality.
Less tasty and come in smaller portions too. Prices are increasing too of course.
My favourite lao sha bao that i've recommending to people again and again is not so wonderful anymore too.
Seri Kembangan Hee Lai Ton would be your smarter choice now.
For it's cheaper but still delicious dimsum :)

SK Hee Lai Ton has this too!
