Shopping girls @ Low Yat Plaza

Girls day out at Low Yat Plaza with Charissa and Wen Yin. Bf tagged along. There are so much to see! Gosh, i am still wondering how on earth did we spend so much time there. Like what bf said, IT stuffs aren't girls' kinda thing. He's so wrong. As long as we are shopping, we'll love it! xD Yeah, a fun day spent together.

To start off, lunch at Sopoong Korean Restaurant @ Berjaya Times Square. Charissa's first time trying korean cuisine. My second time trying Sopoong's. Have been wanting to try their ramyun. Yeah, influenced by 2D1N. Their ramyun was so so only but their is good undoubtedly. We can actually refill the side dishes. Now i know lol~ Filling lunch nevertheless. Met Glynn's bf for the first time. We just said hi and she wanted our feedback about him already. Lol.

Bibimbap, Bbokeumudong spicy mild with kimbab, Yachae ramyun with ddeobokki and Dosirak lunchbox.

Rice tea. Strong ginger taste. I like ^^

Next stop, Low Yat Plaza. Wen Yin wanted to get a portable handphone charger. We ended up buying a lot of stuffs. Had fun looking at handphone casings! They are all so pretty~ Searched and searched for the ones we wanted. They are so particular!

Pastel colours series is definitely in trend now!

Chilled at Sharetea.

Then, shopping at Sungei Wang! So many pretty dresses and blouses. Sleeveless collared blouses are definitely in trend now. Not to forget, pastel colours please ladies! xD

Hong Kong? Nah, just the sixth floor in Sungei Wang xD

Something i bought =)

Back to Times Square to get our car. And we got our Starbucks as well! Buy one and get one free on Wednesday and Friday from 6 to 8pm during this month of Ramadhan. Go grab yours now! Hehe.

Buddy's 21st!

Jia Wern's belated birthday BBQ party last night. My buddy since Standard One. We have been through so much together. Studying together, attending tuition together, played together and even slept together. Lol. *Sis and i sandwiched her xD* She is like a little sister to me cause she is so small. Haha. Celebrated her actual birthday at Bangkok with her loved ones. So nice~ I wanna go Bangkok too.. I want to visit so many places and broaden my knowledge. But firstly i need to save up! >.< What a fun night it's been! So much catching up to do. Among sixth formers, among BFFs. We chatted till 12 something. Bf and i were among the first to arrive and last to leave. Thanks for your patience and time although you're tired =) ♥ Claimed my birthday gift from her too. Thanks for the blouse from Gap =)

The bf said he was forced to put on that shirt. Lol.

Birthday girl's making a wish. Hope your wishes come true~

Happy 21st!

TOAST

I wanted Toast and he gave me Toast. Hehe. Never miss a thing about food cause i have sharp eyes xD Basically i am interested in this movie once i read the synopsis. It stated Toast is the ultimate nostalgia trip through everything edible in 1960’s Britain. What's more captivating than that?! LOL. Checked the papers everyday for the release for this movie and finally it's out! But why isn't it in the movie schedule? *looking and wondering* Then, one fine morning..i spotted it in the international screens section. One session per day and the GSC International Screens located exclusively at GSC Mid Valley (Kuala Lumpur), GSC 1-Utama (New Wing) and GSC Pavilion Kuala Lumpur are the first of its kind in Malaysia to be dedicated to the screening of non-mainstream, art house and foreign language films. Its main objective to cater to the ever growing sophistication of the movie going audience by providing an alternative programming in the form of award-winning non-mainstream films in all languages. Hmm..felt so arty at the moment. Haha! There's only three of us in the cinema. Us and a stranger. Owned the cinema like a boss. Yeah babe! xD

Sophisticated ticket. Yeng lor~

Yeah~ popcorn! *munch munch munch*

Directed by: S.J. Clarkson
Written by: Lee Hall
Starring: Helena Bonham Carter, Freddie Highmore, Ken Stott, Oscar Kennedy, Frasier Huckle, Sarah Middleton, Victoria Hamilton, Corrinne Wicks

Movie info : Toast is the ultimate nostalgia trip through everything edible in 1960’s Britain. It is based on cookery writer Nigel Slater's autobiographical novel of the same name. Freddie Highmore plays a 15-year-old Nigel Slater, with Helena Bonham Carter as his stepmother and Ken Stott as his father. Even when a child, Nigel loved to cook, cooking for his mother because she is a poor cook with chronic asthma. When she dies, Nigel is left with a distant father, who is more concerned about cavorting with Mrs. Joan Potter, their new cleaner instead. Joan is also a superb cook, which only makes Nigel's fears intensify, and he decides to compete with her to find the way to his father's heart.

My rating: 3.5/5
Comment: In the film, it is clear that Nigel loves his mother dearly. He says that her sweet nature makes up for her bad cooking. Nigel’s factory worker father is said to have a sweet tooth, despite his fiery temper. Nigel believes his father doesn’t like him at all. The audience is able to instantly connect with young Nigel, who is hungry for both good food and love. Nigel and his family seem to only buy processed food that are found in tin cans. Even canned food proves to be too much trouble for Nigel’s parents. Nigel’s mother is seen boiling a pot of water with three unopened cans of food. It is as if it never crossed her mind that she had to open the cans before putting them in a pot. Nigel’s mother is seen attempting to make a cake as well. Unfortunately, it is not suitable to be eaten either. When she finally gives up and just makes toast, everyone in the family is satisfied. Nigel, as the narrator, says how he feels about toast and captures the mood of the entire movie. He says, “No matter how bad things get, it’s impossible not to love someone who made you toast. Once you’ve bitten through that crusty surface to the soft dough underneath and tasted the warm salty butter, you’re lost forever.” I love it so much =) And look at that lemon meringue! *drooling*

Walked around and had lunch at Dubu Dubu. Saw so many Mickeys! Took so many photographs of Mickeys and with giant Mickeys! ^^

Pikom PC fair @ KLCC

Last day of Pikom PC fair @ KLCC yesterday.
Dad did his thing again.
Spending recklessly on high-tech devices. Pfftt.
Well, of course those are for us but..=.=
Out of nowhere, a new laptop by the bedside.
All of the sudden, a new handphone and a charger on your bed.
Surprise!
Waa~ So happy~~~ =.="
We'd be on cloud nine to receive gifts from you.
But sometimes, what you bought isn't what we need or want.
Just because, i am a caveman who fears technologies wth.
You should buy a desktop and learn to use it yourself instead.
My thought.
Nevermind, i'll buy you a massage chair next time ^^

Our purpose, to get a new laptop for sis.
Oh, UMS has offered my sis a place in Environmental Science.
She has no choice but to accept the offer.
Dad was worried.
Mum was more relax.
She was in dilemma.
Mixture of feelings.
Happy cause she has friends to accompany her.
Sad to leave home.
I guess?

Spent the whole day and night there.
Mum was bored to death.
All of us were exhausted at the end of the day.
The crowd there was crazy.
I have an urge to own a polaroid camera.

Little red for her.
Chose Dell cause it's easier for her to call for service when she is in Sabah.

The curry mee we had at the cafe. Yummy!

My blue pen for liking some page on Facebook lol.

Mine ^^

Candylicious. Children's wonderland.

This thing is interesting. Hmm..

Dinner at Madam Kwan's. I miss Sakura's nasi lemak! >.<

Their signature nasi lemak.

Food market @ Isetan. Japanese tong yuan. Savoury.

My breakfast today!

Yoga later! =/
