The boss made an announcement. "Alright all my dear employees, listen up. Next week we'll be having our annual company lunch at Chef&Brew. Feel free to bring along your husband and children." It was replied by a venomous stare from my aunt. The boss interpreted it right away and so he added, "Ohh ya, Miss Foo, you can bring along your nieces." Guess who are the luckiest ones? Heehee.
Chef&Brew is a high end cafe located at Damansara Heights. Sister company with Victoria Station. We took bus with aunt to her company at 9am. Reached somewhere near Leisure Mall and walked quite a distance to her company. Had roti canai and milo ais as breakfast at a mamak stall opposite her company. Spent some time in her company and got the first angpau for the year from the boss. Teehee. All of them were trying to finish all unfinished tasks and they had lucky draw before leaving for lunch. One of aunt's colleagues drove us there. Upon reaching we were greeted and ushered to a long table. Glasses of peach juice were already served on the table. Going through the menu, i was holding back. Haha. Couldn't order something too expensive, could I. Actually i can but i just didn't want to do that. Ordered soup and salad where the three of us shared. Each one of us ordered an entree and lastly, two desserts to be shared. Ahhh, i was stuffed. We tossed the lou sang before everything else. Aunt said this was the happiest annual lunch she had so far cause she had us with her. Oh yeah~ The colleague drove us to Midvalley where we shopped before heading home.
