Low residue vs high fibre

In the fluid and texture modification diet lab, we are assigned to prepare:
  1. 1500 kcal/day low residue diet.
  2. 1800 kcal/day high fibre diet.
Two totally different types of diet. Foods that are restricted in low residue diet are recommended in high fibre diet.

Basically, a low residue diet is stricter than a low fibre diet where it also restricts foods that will stimulate bowel activity such as milk and dairy products, spies and caffeine. Hard meat, uncooked vegetables and fruits with skin are totally out of question.

So, i prepared koay tew soup with fishball and cooked carrot and lettuce with honey drink.

High fibre prepared by Haze. Yums~
