I am a procrastinator.

Omg, i'm such a procrastinator!
My logo, no significant progress at all. And yet the deadline is nearing! What am i going to do? I've no inspiration at all! I shall just give up but i can't. I can't just hand in some craps as well cause i know this is something crucial for the team. Goodness, how on earth can i come up with something nice in such a short period. Well, i'll just have to admit that i'm not so creative when it comes to designing something new >.<"
Procrastination is a theft of time and yet i let it gets the best of me!
What am i waiting for?! =/

NOW is the best time to get started!

Go go go..!

I had a dream.

It's 2:50a.m. now and i'm still wide awake wth! Had been rolling here and there for the past two hours plus. I should sleeping soundly and dreaming some of my wildest dreams right now! But i don't know what is wrong with my body. It must be exhausted after yoga but why, why can't i fall asleep? I want to sleeppppp~!!! And start dreaming~

So, just to share a dream i had when during my nap time yesterday. Can't recall how i got there but i remembered this part of the dream well. My conversation with a baby lol. Well, here is how it goes.

*Me, carrying the baby*
Baby : Ain't i heavy?
Me : Nola, still okla. Not that heavy also.
Baby : I know i'm heavy. I'm eating a lot now. So that i can grow up faster. *showing me a wide smile*

Yes! A speaking baby! In proper language. I don't know why i didn't freak out in my dream. Was just shocked at what he said. Aww, such considerate little thing. He wants to grow up fast so that he can lessen the burden of his parents having to look after him and take care of him. How lovely =)) And he was about to sing me a song, an English song when i was woken up by a text message. Grrr..i wanna continue my dream! Zzz..!

What song could you sing to me?

Another insomniatic night =(

Not my lazy song.

Oh, today i don't feel like doing anything.
I just wanna lay in my bed.
Don't feel like picking my phone,
so leave a message at the tone.
Cause today i'm not doing anything.
Nothing at all!
Just like Bruno Mars~

But i can't. Sigh~ Heading to the studio soon. For the very first time. Doing yoga in the studio *excited state xD*

All pumped up for yoga?
Always a NO.

I know this is random but

I really wanna have a bite of that! =/

I'm hungry =/

Oh, some add-ons for this post.
Class was conducted in Miss Tutor's house instead cause her husband was having another class in the studio. Just wanna show some pictures that i've taken at her lovely house =)
Well, her house has this little garden at the backyard. Nice~ And i see many greens inside and outside of the house. They must really care for the environment. But the house has no tv, no sofa. wonder how could they possibly survive there lol

Class was conducted here, the living room?
We did our handstand with the equipment on the wall. My goodness it was scary (!) but kinda fun though xD

The space for the pro~

We sneak a peek of her room =p
A collection of bandanna. Wow!

Busy but bored!

Busy cause this is quite a long post but still, i felt damn bored!

Breakfast plan was ruined by little brother. Dad wants him to get some sleep cause he's been awake for the whole night and morning watching some useless football match, Manchester United versus Barcelona. He even had his MU jersey on during the game. Well, he's a devoted fan of MU wth. Still, Barcelone outcast MU, 3-1. He felt sad deep inside(?) Like i care zzz.

So, we had something else for breakfast. There's some tension going on and therefore, i was on my way to breakfast for the second round, right after the first. Yes, right after the first. This is not some typo. Tried the chicken rice at this newly opened restaurant at Sungai Chua. The whole restaurant is full of the aroma of baked flour from the bakery beside it. Wth? Not very nice, isn't it? Why can't i smell roasted chicken instead!

Restoran Authentic Nanyang Chicken Rice, Sungai Chua.

Take your cutleries here.

And the floor, on purpose or what? Dad said they are all left over tiles.
Didn't pay much attention to the renovation huh?

Bukit Mertajam Steamed chicken and char siew.

Bean sprouts. Rich in Vitamin E. Well, good for your reproductive system.
Must eat more! xD

Yong Chow or Fook Chow Fishballs. I forgot.

Dragonfruit! One of my favourite =)

I watched some downloaded movie to spend my afternoon. Inception. I know it's been a long time. Haven't got the chance, well, more like haven't got the mental strength to watch it till now. It's a complicated movie which require much thinking okay? lol =D

Directed by : Christopher Nolan
Written by : Christopher Nolan
Starring : Leonardo Dicaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page.

Movie info : Visionary filmmaker Christopher Nolan (Memento, The Dark Knight) writes and directs this psychological sci-fi action film about a thief who possesses the power to enter into the dreams of others. Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) doesn't steal things, he steals ideas. By projecting himself deep into the subconscious of his targets, he can glean information that even the best computer hackers can't get to. In the world of corporate espionage, Cobb is the ultimate weapon. But even weapons have their weakness, and when Cobb loses everything, he's forced to embark on one final mission in a desperate quest for redemption. This time, Cobb won't be harvesting an idea, but sowing one. Should he and his team of specialists succeed, they will have discovered a new frontier in the art of psychic espionage. They've planned everything to perfection, and they have all the tools to get the job done. Their mission is complicated, however, by the sudden appearance of a malevolent foe that seems to know exactly what they're up to, and precisely how to stop them.

My rating : 4/5
Comment : Dream within a dream. Now that's complicated. A lot of jargons being used. A lot was going on. I forgot what i understood from their dialogs in one scene once the next scene takes place. You'll have to watch it yourself to find out. But no doubt, it's a great movie C=

And we went dinner at somewhere near cause we wanna watch Sudirman Cup Final tonight! =D A restaurant in Sungai Chua. We always go there for dinner on a Sunday's night. Though, as expected, China won the cup, i'm still not happy! Why are they dominating the world of badminton like forever and ever?! What the future holds for us, Malaysian in this arena? =(

Sin chow mai. I had that for breakfast too zzz.

Thai-style fried rice. I have no idea why i can't rotate the picture.

Sawi? The veggie with tiny yellow flowers. That's what i call it =.="

Salad fried shrimp. Yum!

Salted egg cooked with squids. Double yum! =d

Salad tofu. This is nice too =)

Yin yeong. We are still not full, that's why. Ha~

And finally, aunty is back from Hong Kong.
She said she misses us a lot xD

A little sweet souvenir from her.
A pen from Disneyland =)

I'm not feeling right all day long today.
But i've no idea why =(

What are you?

Who are you?
Where do you come from?
What supernatural power do you possess to make me feel this way?
Totally overwhelmed by the feeling of guilt.
Never ending in me.
Why should i feel this way?
What right do you have to make me feel this way?
How can i fight this?
How can i stop dwelling on the past?
Be tough and stay strong?
If i wanna start living a little more,
i must let things roll off my back..

Another 3a.m.

My rating : 3/5
Comment : Magic? Illusion? Supernatural power? Wandering spirits? I like them all lol. I dislike their love story =( But that was before i know what exactly happened. After that, i love it too! =D Now i know what people from once upon a time used to do during leisure time. Watching magicians' performances and crack their minds to figure out how those tricks actually work. Like how we watch movies in cinemas nowadays. Just that we don't really have second thought on what we've been watching? Hmm.. Eisenheim, The Illusionist. So powerful, not in strength. But, in a different way, a way better way. He's a genius. Well, he just wanna be with her =)

It's three in the morning.

I love her.

Isn't she lovable?
I love her smile.
Love the way her eyes curve upon a smile.
I love her mind.
Love the way she expresses her thoughts.
Love her words, love her acts.
I love her heart.
She has a golden heart.
I love her.
For she is so tiny yet so strong.
So independent and so determined.
So positive when she could be so negative.
But i couldn't help.
I couldn't help myself from wondering.
The heartache behind those smiles.
The hurtful feelings she enclosed within herself.
The agonies she's been going through.
Yet, she chose to show only the strength in her.
And, she made me realise.
She is indeed, lovable.
She is so lovable and amicable, to me.

Will she break down one day?
Or stays strong forever?

Say Ouch!

Woke in the morning,
feeling so heavy.
And i was thinking,
blue really does exist
in colour
and feeling.
And only if you could draw closer.
Just a little closer.
You would sense the
P-A-I-N
in me.
The feeling of pain in me.

But what triggers such feeling?

Woohoo! Went and redeem my Domino's pizza today. The waitress asked for my handphone numbers when i was ordering my pizza and i went erm..hmm..ahh..omg! I just can't remember my own numbers. Damn! Anyway, skip that. Concentrate on the foods instead. After all, it's what matters lol. The aroma of melted sugar and butter filled the atmosphere. Hmm~ Take a deep breath please =D Tuna temptation! My choice. I love tuna not because i'm Garfield. So, don't call me Tuna. The Cinnastix tasted just like Cinnamon sugar pretzel. Yummy~

Gonna expire soon, that's why..

Cinnastix with sugar icing =D

Nah, Tuna Temptation. Temptation!

What is wrong with tonight?!

IT'S TIME FOR YOGA AGAIN!
Look, even the picture is black and white.
My heart is black and white too.
Although black and purple are what i am now.

I want my camera back =(

Homey Sunday =)

My initial plan to visit Bald gay didn't quite go right cause something popped up. I did prepare mentally for like a few minutes at least. And i planned to bring you brown rice dumpling okay? xD So, you can feel a bit happy about it la. Ha~
So, plan changed, went out with family instead. Sis's sitting for her midterm examination at current so she stayed at home, to study. Tomorrow is her Chemistry paper omg =/
Woke up in the morning and was forced by mum to change my bedsheet and pillow case.

The feeling of sleeping in the sea, with little fishes~

So blue and so, it's nice! =D

Then, we went out for brunch at Wan Wan Pan Mee. Chilli pan mee here i come! =D So spicy yet so delicious~ Our favourite at all times. We just love spicy foods! =)

Mum's loh pan mee.

Dad's sliced fried pork pan mee and jasmine tea.

My dry pan mee and soya milk.

Slowly turned into chilli pan mee =D look at the dried chilli flakes

After brunch, we went Viva Home, a new shopping complex in KL. Well, it consists mainly of home deco outlets. I enjoyed looking at those home furnitures and decorations. Fascinating and pretty, romantic and lovely, colourful and fun, antique and artistic, modern and sophisicated. I like them all =) The restaurants and cafes there are very nicely renovated too. Oh ya, and their washrooms omg. A different theme for each floor =D The groundfloor uses the elements on a cruise, sailors? First floor, modern red. Second floor, sexy cowboys! me likey~ =)))

So that we wouldn't lose our car. Haha!

First floor. Look at the wheel. Omg, camwhore!

Inside the cabinet. They even paid attention to that =D

See see! They actually placed wine barrels in the washroom.

Pictures are taken with my lousy phone's camera. Aunt took my camera to Hong Kong! I want my camera back, fast! =/

Just for you to know =)

Surrealism: Salvador Dali

Busy Saturday~ It's considered a sorta hectic Saturday cause i've been doing almost nothing at home everyday. Went for the mighty Salvador Dali's artwork exhibition [lead crystal display] organised by Soka Gakai Malaysia [SGM] at Wisma Kebudayaan SGM itself. According to Mr Soh, this organisation is damn rich to own such a huge building in KL area xD But well, free admission =) Oh, thanks to Mr Soh for the ride and Sim for her companionship(?) =)

GPS is useful =D

Jalan Bukit Bintang, KL.

Biography of Salvador Dali:

Dalí, Salvador (1904-89): Spanish painter, sculptor, graphic artist, and designer. After passing through phases of Cubism, Futurism and Metaphysical painting, he joined the Surrealists in 1929 and his talent for self-publicity rapidly made him the most famous representative of the movement. Throughout his life he cultivated eccentricity and exhibitionism (one of his most famous acts was appearing in a diving suit at the opening of the London Surrealist exhibition in 1936), claiming that this was the source of his creative energy. He took over the Surrealist theory of automatism but transformed it into a more positive method which he named `critical paranoia'. According to this theory one should cultivate genuine delusion as in clinical paranoia while remaining residually aware at the back of one's mind that the control of the reason and will has been deliberately suspended. He claimed that this method should be used not only in artistic and poetical creation but also in the affairs of daily life. His paintings employed a meticulous academic technique that was contradicted by the unreal `dream' space he depicted and by the strangely hallucinatory characters of his imagery. He described his pictures as `hand-painted dream photographs' and had certain favorite and recurring images, such as the human figure with half-open drawers protruding from it, burning giraffes, and watches bent and flowing as if made from melting wax (The Persistence of Memory, MOMA, New York; 1931).

In 1937 Dalí visited Italy and adopted a more traditional style; this together with his political views (he was a supporter of General Franco) led Breton to expel him from the Surrealist ranks. He moved to the USA in 1940 and remained there until 1955. During this time he devoted himself largely to self-publicity; his paintings were often on religious themes (The Crucifixion of St John of the Cross, Glasgow Art Gallery, 1951), although sexual subjects and pictures centring on his wife Gala were also continuing preoccupations. In 1955 he returned to Spain and in old age became a recluse.

Apart from painting, Dalí's output included sculpture, book illustration, jewellery design, and work for the theatre. In collaboration with the director Luis Buñuel he also made the first Surrealist films---Un chien andalou (1929) and L'Age d'or (1930)---and he contributed a dream sequence to Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound (1945). He also wrote a novel, Hidden Faces (1944) and several volumes of flamboyant autobiography. Although he is undoubtedly one of the most famous artists of the 20th century, his status is controversial; many critics consider that he did little if anything of consequence after his classic Surrealist works of the 1930s. There are museums devoted to Dalí's work in Figueras, his home town in Spain, and in St Petersburg in Florida.

Here are some of his artwork presented in the exhibition:

The most well-known: The melted clocks.

The well-known surrealist piece introduced the image of the soft melting pocket watch. It epitomizes Dalí's theory of "softness" and "hardness", which was central to his thinking at the time. As Dawn Ades wrote, "The soft watches are an unconscious symbol of the relativity of space and time, a Surrealist meditation on the collapse of our notions of a fixed cosmic order". This interpretation suggests that Dalí was incorporating an understanding of the world introduced by Albert Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity. When asked by Ilya Prigogine whether this was in fact the case, Dali replied that the soft watches were not inspired by the theory of relativity, but by the surrealist perception of a Camembert cheese melting in the sun.
Although fundamentally part of Dalí's Freudian phase, the imagery precedes his transition to his scientific phase by fourteen years, which occurred after the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
It is possible to recognize a human figure in the middle of the composition, in the strange "monster" that Dalí used in several period pieces to represent himself – the abstract form becoming something of a self portrait, reappearing frequently in his work. The orange clock at the bottom left of the painting is covered in ants. Dalí often used ants in his paintings as a symbol for death, as well as a symbol of female genitalia.
The figure in the middle of the picture is symbolized as a "fading" creature, as which, when one often dreams, he or she cannot pin-point the exact form and composition of a creature. One can also see that the creature has one closed eye with several eyelashes; this also suggests that the creature is in a dream state. The iconography of this famous painting is that of a dream that Dalí had experienced. The clocks symbolize the passing of time that one experiences in a dream state.

Apparition of Face and Fruit Dish on a Beach

Apparition of Face and Fruit Dish on a Beach (1938) is a painting by the Spanish surrealist Salvador Dali.
The picture shows a fruit on or in a wine glass. A human face (which would be seen again in one of Dalí's later works, The Endless Enigma)  is seen below the fruit, the handle of the wine glass acting as the face's nose bridge. The texture of the face is the sand of the beach. On the sand is a cloth and a snapped rope. There also are 2 dogs featured in the background of the painting.
The painting is currently on display at the Wadsworth Atheneum In Hartford Connecticut.

Giving birth of a blind horse biting a telephone.

Here are some quotes by him too:

  • "Have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it."
  • "At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since."
  • "The only difference between me and a madman is I'm not mad."
  • "Intelligence with out ambition is a bird without wings."
  • "Drawing is the honesty of the art. There is no possibility of cheating: It is either good or bad. "

There were some other exhibitions going on on the other floors.

This was on the ninth floor, SGM Mentor & Disciple Peace Hall.

Well, very informative afternoon. Got to know a lot about Soka Gakai Malaysia and it's president at present, Mr Daisaku Ikeda too. He's is a great man! =D
