Happy Birthday Dad!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
See, i remember your birthday~ although you don't even know mine =p

I couldn't celebrate your birthday on the exact date since i will not be at home so i bought you a slice of cake to celebrate it in advance. Good enough gua~ A filial daughter, i am. Hahaha. I know you've sacrificed a lot for the four of us. I can see how worried you are for us from the time when i joined National Service, enrolled into Kedah Matriculation College and in UKM now. Sis got so lucky that she too was selected for National Service at a camp further from home and even worse a university oversea (South China Sea hahaha). Not to forget third sister who kena NS lagi! -.- I can see how years of hard work is taking its toll on you. I will study hard to secure a good job in future. Then i'll be the one bringing home the money haha! And about the gift i promised myself that i am going to buy for you when i come out to work, i'll buy it one day for sure! Not gonna tell you about it for the time being. Haha.

Absolute chocolate cake from Secret Recipe. So rich, chocolate-y~

ABSOLUTE CHOCOLATE cake is crafted with a single origin Swiss chocolate using beans from the region of Maracaibo in Venezuela. The harmonious combination of coffee and plum aromas in this special chocolate enhances the distinct cocoa flavour with hints of orange blossom and cinnamon. The chocolate profile is further enhanced by the final sensation of a light, sweet raisin bouquet.  The result is a rich chocolate cake that is intense and warm with love. Savour the delightful play of texture from the mini choclets on the top of the cake to the soft truffles, crispy croquantine base and the rich cocoa sponge layered with a velvety chocolate cream.

Dinner that night at Old Man Restaurant cause i told mum we haven't been there for quite some time and there we are. Hehe.


This Thai-style fried tofu is yummy! Crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside.


Mongolia pork chop. Tasted different from last time already.


The braised sang mee i love the most. Hehe. I think i finished a quarter of it all by myself ='d
