Is your brain rancid?

Is your brain rancid?

YES you read it right - RANCID!
This scientific message got my attention big time. I know right, who uses rancid to describe a brain? So creative. Haha. Frankly, if someone tells you that he/she has got a rancid brain or rather he/she is telling you that you have a rancid brain, you'd probably think that he/she is trying to be creative and came up with such an adjective. However, if you think deep enough you'd probably have a different thought. This fella is not just trying to be flowery with words, his/her speech actually makes sense, scientifically.

Let see. Our brain happens to be the fattiest organ in our body. Our brain also uses a lot of oxygen. Oxygen and fat react to form free radicals. This process is called oxidation which in turns causes rancidity. Yes, oxidised fat is rancid. That makes our brains rancid! I think i will go around telling people i have a rancid brain now rather than going on about how my brain functions have deteriorate over time using long-winded explanations. Haha. Unfortunately, a rancid brain doesn't work very well! Saddening realistic. I am becoming stupider as second passes -.-

We need lots of anti-oxidants to counter that! And to my surprise, prunes have the highest content of anti-oxidants to save your brain from aging so that you can be happy and smart for a longer period. Lol.
